Upcoming Cold Weather

Even though Florida is known as the Sunshine State, it doesn't always mean the weather is perfect to sit by the pool. Cold weather is moving in starting tomorrow!

Universal will adjust Volcano Bay's operating hours due to inclement weather, including cold weather.

Central Florida is expected to have lows in the 40's and highs only getting to the low to mid 60's. This does not sound like the perfect water park weather that guests dream about.

Previous Closures

During the month of December, Volcano Bay already had nine previously scheduled closures. You can see all the closures that were scheduled for December HERE.

Volcano Bay will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 as previously scheduled.

New Closure Due to Inclement Weather

Universal has now shared that Volcano Bay will now also be closed on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 due to inclement weather.

Universal Orlando encourages guests to stay tined to their social channels or call 407-817-8317 for updates.

We recommend checking Volcano Bay's and other water park's hours of operation during the winter months as closures are possible due to cold weather.
