New Reason to Rope Drop at EPCOT

Get ready to unlock the magic! Walt Disney World is giving you a new reason to rope drop, and you don't want to miss this.

Rope drop at Disney Parks essentially means the time that a particular park or experience opens. Many guests love rope drop while enjoying shorter wait times for attractions.

Walt Disney World has made many changes for Rope Drop over the last several months. Disney's Hollywood Studios shifted this summer for special Early Entry offerings.

While at Magic Kingdom, the rope is now missing during Early Entry. This is the BEST change for Magic Kingdom.

EPCOT Rope Drop

Earlier, we shared that the EPCOT Park opening changed last month. Now, EPCOT is giving us another great reason to arrive at the park early.

This morning, as we were first in line to meet Figment at Image Works, we received the most magical experience. Figment came out to greet us, took us by the hand, and led us outside.

We were not expecting this! Figment held his first meet and greet of the day outside Image Works. It is possible that this was only for the first meet and greet and this will not continue throughout the day.

This year, Figment has a new look for the Christmas season. Figment is now in his festive blue holiday sweater

You can meet Figment from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm and 1:45 pm until 3:45 pm (appearance times subject to change).
