Located in the heart of Tomorrowland, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin gives you the chance to defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg. The attraction is currently closed for a major refurbishment!

Big changes are coming to this attraction. There will be a new show scene that will introduce characters to a new character, "Buddy." This new character created by Walt Disney Imagineering and Pixar Animation Studios will help to play a key role on the star command team.

Along with the addition of a new character, the ride vehicles will receive a huge overhaul with video monitors and handheld blasters.

What we are most excited about is that the once static Z targets throughout the attraction will also be upgraded. Read all about these updates HERE.

These new vehicles will feature hand held blasters and video monitors with real-time scoring (unlimited high scores!).

Disney announced that Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin will reopen in the Spring of 2026!

Previously, the PeopleMover allowed guests to go behind the scenes of Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. This space has been missing due to refurbishment to this space.

Thanks to @DrewDisneyDude for sharing our first look at these new interactive targets:
