Update: One Phase Complete on This Lengthy Disney Deluxe Resort Refurbishment
Guests are seeing some big progress at this Disney Deluxe Resort's lengthy refurbishment. See what is now complete and how much more work remains.
Refurbishment at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club
This summer, Disney announced that the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts would be undergoing routine exterior maintenance.
Initially, Disney's Beach Club's exterior refurbishment would take place from early June through September 2025, and Disney's Yacht Club's exterior refurbishment would take place from early July through October 2025.

Multiple Refurbishment Extensions
The first extension had Disney's Yacht Club Resort, undergoing the routine exterior maintenance through late 2026. The porte cochere would be closed through October 2025.
This would then extend Disney's Beach Club Resort refurbishment. The Beach Club's exterior maintenance would extend through 2027. Beach Club's porte cochere would be closed through September 2025
Disney then extended the Beach Club's porte cohere refurbishment again!
Now OPEN!
We are very happy to report that Disney's Beach Club Resort's porte cochere is back open! It is important to note that this is just one phase of the lengthy refurbishment that is taking place. The exterior work is expected to last through 2027!
Beach Club's porte cochere is back open!
Guests visiting Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will hear and see construction during daytime hours. Guests may also need to take alternate pathsdue to the construction. The construction may also cause impacted views from various locations throughout the resort.
