Hollywood Studios Brings Back Muppet Vision 3D Magic
Disney made good on their promise to bring back Muppet Vision 3D. Find out where you can enjoy this rare bit of Muppet magic.
Muppet Vision Closure

Disney's Hollywood Studios has undergone many changes over the years. Muppet Vision 3D was the final major project that Jim Henson directed before he passed in 1990. It originally opened on May 16, 1991.
This film is special to many Muppet and Disney fans who have enjoyed it for several decades, and as a final masterpiece created by Jim Henson.
When Disney originally shared that the Muppet Courtyard would close to make room for a Monsters Inc.-themed land, this news was somewhat bittersweet.
Promise to Preserve Muppet Vision

Disney shared, "As we move forward with these changes, we are having creative conversations and exploring ways to preserve the film and other parts of the experience for fans to enjoy in the future."
The Jim Henson Company and the Walt Disney Company have had discussions of adapting Muppet Vision 3D to Virtual Reality. Henson confirmed that the show was documented with Virtual Reality cameras.
We shared back in May that a special filming of Muppet Vision 3D was planned for Cast Members. It is possible that the Virtual Reality filming took place during this event. I (Donna) still have my fingers crossed that more will be done to preserve this film at the Disney Parks and even on Disney+.
Muppet Vision 3D Returns

This Christmas season, guests can enjoy rare Muppet Vision 3D magic near the entrance of Disney's Hollywood Studios at Sid Cahuenga's One-of-a-Kind Tinseltown Photos.
Muppet Vision 3D carpet is now on display at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
We spied the carpet from Muppet Vision 3D, and it gave us all of the Muppet Vision 3D vibes! Guests can also have their Christmas photos taken by PhotoPass photographers during park hours.
You can also enjoy a limited-time Muppet Christmas Carol experience at Walt Disney Presents. Check out full details for this experience HERE.
