Disney World Cancels This Popular Dining Reservation
Walt Disney World continues to change dining reservations and this is a pretty bold move. Find out which popular dining time slot is closing indefinitely.

This summer, a new update for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland allowed guests to use a similar calendar as used to make Theme Park reservations to allow guests to check dining availability over multiple days.
This was a great change, but soon this flopped when a huge technical glitch resulted once Beak and Barrel dining reservations were available.
As Disney prepared to open Advanced Dining Reservations again, they made a BIG change. When guests attempt to make an Advanced Dining Reservation on the app, they are redirected to the Walt Disney World website. Thankfully, this later changed.
Disney Dining Changes
Last week, Walt Disney World made a new change for dining reservations by adding the first ever dining reservations for the Wailulu Bar & Grill.
Now, Disney is making another big dining change that feels like a step backwards.
In January 2026, the Coral Reef Restaurant, located at EPCOT, will no longer offer lunch dining. This dining location is popular for the unique aquarium viewing.

Coral Reef posts both lunch and dinner dining hours through January 11, 2026. Starting on January 12, 2026, only dinner dining is available starting at 4:00 pm nightly.

At this time, it is unclear if this is temporary or a permanent change. In the past, Disney has made operational changes to the World of Nature pavilion to accommodate sea life and refurbishment work. Time will tell if this is a permanent or temporary change.
