Disney World's Airport Luggage Transfer Perk Is Now Offered Round-Trip

This is the Disney resort perk that many guests have been waiting for! The initial testing went well and is now expanding even more.

Disney is taking action after coming under scrutiny for many Disney resort perks missing over the years. Resort Airline Check-In lets Guests check their bags with their airline for their Disney hotel, allowing guests to have a stress-free airport experience.

Unfortunately, this amazing offering disappeared during Walt Disney World's closure for COVID-19. Earlier this spring we shared that Pop Century was being used to try this new airline check-in for guests flying Southwest.

The Airport Luggage Transfer Program soon expanded to all five Walt Disney World Value Resorts. This includes All-Star Movies, All-Star Sports, All-Star Music, Pop Century, and Art of Animation.

Just as with the initial return of the Airport Luggage Transfer Program, Disney is now testing and expanding this service both to and from the Orlando International Airport for domestic guests flying Southwest.

This allows guests the option to skip baggage claim and have their checked luggage delivered directly to their Disney World Resort hotel. The service will begin on November 18, 2025 or later,

Registration opens tomorrow, November 13, 2025. Guests can register online between 30 and 5 days before their Southwest flight HERE.

At this time, this is still in the testing phase. To our understanding, a third party provider will deliver luggage from the airport to the resort approximately four hours after arrival.

Hopefully, the testing will go well and will one day be offered at even more Walt Disney World Resorts. You can review Kate's experience using this perk HERE.

  1. This is fantastic news!! Although, a little disappointing that it didn't come back until after Southwest started charging for luggage. I will absolutely try to use this service on my next trip!
