Disney+ Issues Warning for Subscribers Using Apple Devices
If you enjoy streaming Disney+ with your Apple devices, you will want to check out this new warning.
Disney+ Changes

Disney+ debuted in 2019 and has seen many changes over the years. Subscribers delight when new features are added, but typically, new specials and added features come with price increases.
To help decrease the sticker shock from price increases in March 2022, we began hearing rumblings about a cheaper plan. The catch of course is that ads will be shown on these lower-priced tiers.
Disney shared that the new "cheaper plan" would include ad tiers. Many Disney fans did not like the idea of ads being added to their favorite Disney content, but the lure of a lower-priced Disney+ streaming plan enticed many. Check out this new law, which affects ads to make your streaming a bit more magical.
Disney+ Warning for Apple Devices

Disney+ recently sent an email to subscribers stating, "The Disney+ app will no longer be supported on your older Apple device."
Disney shares, "Because some devices, especially older smart TVs or streaming devices, may lack the technical capability to run the latest Disney+ app or meet the necessary performance standards for streaming, from time to time, it's necessary for us to withdraw support for older devices."
This change will take effect starting December 1, 2025.
Who will be affected?

The reason for this change is due to a new update for the operating systems. Unfortunately, this update is not compatible with older Apple devices.
This change will take effect starting December 1, 2025.
The problem is that the warning does not list specific Apple devices that will be affected. The Disney+ Help Page indicates that it supports Apple mobile devices running iOS 16.5 or later, as well as the Apple TV (4th generation or later).
Will this affect your Disney+ streaming? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney+ pals.
