Tower of Terror Drop Sequences Will Change Soon

Tower of Terror offers various ride experiences, and soon Disney will bring two changes to the Tower of Terror. Find out full details for this thrilling experience.

The fan favorite Tower of Terror attraction brings thrills to guests of all ages. This attraction is offered at both Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios and Disneyland's Paris Walt Disney Studios Park.

The attraction is similar at both parks, but the pre-show is a bit different. Apparently, Parisian guests love to be scared, so this attraction offers a bit more of an ominous vibe.

In 2017, Tower of Terror received a retheme at Disneyland's California Adventure. On May 27, 2017, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout allowed guests to enjoy the greatest thrills while also rocking out to the greatest sounds in the galaxy.

A new "Avengers Themed" attraction will come to Hong Kong Disneyland, which offers similar thrilling drops as the classic Tower of Terror attraction.

Tower of Terror Unlimited

Disney recently announced a changing drop sequence coming to the Tower of Terror at Tokyo Disney Sea. Guests can enjoy Tower of Terror "Unlimited."

Disney promises that guests can enjoy even more thrills starting January 13 through March 31, 2026.

"During this period, guests will be able to enjoy either Tower of Terror: Level 13 or Tower of Terror: Level 13 "Shadow of Shiriki" at random."

Tower of Terror More Thrills

The version of Tower of Terror at Tokyo Disney Sea does not offer as many drops as the version located at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Tower of Terror: Level 13 will offer 7 drops instead of the typical 3 drops.

Two new drop sequences will come to Tower of Terror starting January 13, 2026

At Tokyo Disney Sea, Shiriki is the cursed idol featured throughout the attraction. During The Tower of Terror: Level 13 "Shadow of Shiriki" guests can enjoy even more drops, a special pre-show, and a projection showing a shadow of Shiriki cutting the elevator's cables.
