Disney World Special Park Hours and Entertainment for New Year's Eve

Disney World Park Hours
Almost every week, the Kenny the Pirate writing team shares the latest theme park hours as Disney releases them. These initial hours are a great way to begin preparing for your trip. We want to make sure that you have all the information that you need for your upcoming trip.
Disney World also frequently extends its park hours and adjusts them for crowd levels. Sometimes you can get a little extra park time! You can check out our most recent update for park hours HERE.
We now have exciting news that you can enjoy the Disney Parks until midnight without the need for Extended Evening Hours or a separately priced After Hours ticket.
Enjoy Disney World Until Midnight
Come this winter, guests can enjoy three of the four Walt Disney World theme parks until midnight or later. The exception to this is Disney's Animal Kingdom. Due to caring for the many animals that call Disney's Animal Kingdom their home, this park often holds the shortest park hours.
The most magical night of the year, New Year's Eve, will be open for guests to enjoy Disney's Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Magic Kingdom until midnight to ring in the New Year.
Guests can enjoy the following park hours:
- Magic Kingdom: December 30th and 31st from 9:00am until 12:00 am
- EPCOT: December 31st from 9:00 am until 1:00 am
- Disney's Hollywood Studios: December 31st from 9:00 am until 12:00 am
New Year's Eve Entertainment
"Fantasy in the Sky" will return once again to the Magic Kingdom on both December 30th and December 31st. Guests will have two opportunities to enjoy this show at both 7:30 pm and 11:50 pm.
Guests can enjoy three of the four Walt Disney World theme parks until midnight or later on New Year's Eve.
On New Year's Eve, December 31st, at EPCOT, Guests can enjoy "Luminous: The Symphony of Us" at 6:30 pm and "Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration" at 11:54 pm.
Last year, Disney's Hollywood Studios featured a brand new New Year's Eve celebration featuring many rare characters. Disney has not yet confirmed if this party will return this year.
Disney highly recommends that you make your theme park reservation as soon as you complete your admission purchase, as availability can change until the theme park reservation is finalized. For example, New Year's Eve sold out for select Annual Passholders back in September.
