What is an After Hours Event?
Walt Disney World will let guests enter the park for a nighttime of fun with THREE extra hours after park closing, to ride attractions, fill up on Disney snacks, and enjoy a quieter park experience. We haven’t seen an After Hours Event like this in a while!
In fact, due to Hurricane Ian, an exciting Disney World After Hours event was just pushed back. You can read all about that in Susan’s post HERE! Thankfully, this After Hours event starting in January will not be happening during Florida’s hurricane season!
When is this happening?
The Disney After Hours events are separately ticketed events that allow guests to enter the park at 7pm to get a head start on soaking up all of the late-night fun!
The Walt Disney World Resort just announced that Disney After Hours events will be happening on select night from January 4, to April 19, 2023 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. These events will also take place at the Magic Kingdom from January 9, to March 27, 2023. Keep reading for the FULL list of dates!
What can you do at this event?
According to Disney, guests will be able to ride more than 20 popular attractions at Magic Kingdom. This includes Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and more!
If you’re more interested in staying late at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can enjoy attractions such as: Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, Slinky Dog Dash, and more.
What about tickets?
Regular park guests will be able to purchase tickets to these events starting October 7, 2022 with prices ranging from $129 to $159 (plus tax). If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can begin purchasing your tickets for Disney After Hours staring October 4, 2022.
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members will be able to purchase specially priced tickets on select nights.
What are the Dates?
Magic Kingdom will be offering Disney After Hours on these select dates (From 10PM to 1AM with 7PM entry):
Jan- 9, 16, 23. Feb- 16, 20, 27. Mar- 2, 6, 13, 16, 20, 27.
Hollywood Studios is available on these select dates (From 9:30PM to 12:30AM with 7PM entry):
Jan- 4, 11, 18, 25. Feb- 15, 22. Mar- 8, 22, 29. Apr- 2, 5, 19.

Wanting to purchase the after hours event for Hollywood studios in April, but looking at the rides and am confused. The picture shows tower of terror, but the ride list doesn’t show it. It is one of the most popular rides. Surely it will be open. Can you find out Kenny?
