Most notably, under Moriarty's leadership, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort expanded with the successful opening of World of Frozen! This contributed to a record-breaking year in 2024. He also launched a year-long celebration of HKDL's 20th anniversary, which is currently underway.

It is already a time of evolution in Disney Parks in the United States with the transformation of Frontierland into a Cars-themed area, the Villains expansion, the transformation of Dinoland U.S.A., and the demolition of Muppet Courtyard to make way for Monsters Inc. We look forward to seeing what else tomorrow brings under this new leadership.

  1. Disney getting rid of Frontier land because it depicts Americana. It also shows in all the remakes of Disney movies . We go to parks weekly because of Walt's vision not because of Iger, the board, or a new CFO.

    1. Thank you for reading, Wanda. I am sad to see Frontierland change. My own family loves to explore and play on Tom Sawyer Island. I sure hope they do a fantastic job with making the new area resemble a National Park as planned to restore some of the beauty to that area of the park.
