There is a loyal following of Disney fans for the beloved Haunted Mansion attraction. The idea of the Haunted Mansion varies at each Disney Park around the globe. From mansions to manors, this attraction is a favorite among many Disney guests.

Haunted Mansion was an opening day attraction at Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square and has received a few fun changes over the years. One of the most recent and notable changes brought the return of the Hatbox Ghost. This clever illusion is truly spell-binding.

The Hatbox Ghost appears to guests as they pass the Endless Hallway, welcoming himself inside from the swinging wake in the cemetery and grinning at the Doom Buggies as they set off deeper into the mansion.

There are many changes currently taking place throughout Walt Disney World. At the Magic Kingdom, a large expansion is taking place along the former Rivers of America and beyond Big Thunder Mountain Railroad for Villains Land.

Due to the progress on the new Cars-themed land at the former Rivers of America, construction walls now surround this space.

Although construction walls aren't very magical, they do pose another concern in that they block air flow. This greatly affects the outdoor standby queue for the Haunted Mansion.

Earlier this summer, two large industrial fans were added to the outdoor queue for the Haunted Mansion. This was a great addition, but guests continued to feel the heat while waiting in line for this attraction.

In addition to the two large fans, Disney has now added small overhead fans throughout this queue. Although guests still see construction walls lining this queue, at least there is adequate airflow for guests.

While it is fall, October can still be pretty hot at Walt Disney World. You can check out our listing of 10 Great Ways to Beat the Heat HERE.
