Pool Refurbishments at Disney World

Let's face it, any closure for a refurbishment is inconvenient. Even though we all know they are necessary to keep things running smoothly. Refurbishments can occur at all kinds of locations, including restaurants, attractions, shops, hotel rooms and lobbies, and even the hotel pools.
Disney tries to inform Guests as early as possible of any upcoming refurbishment plans.
Disney recently reopened one of the resort pools at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, but has since announced upcoming closures at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, Disney's All Star Movies, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Disney's Boardwalk Inn & Villas.
Another Pool Closure

Disney has announced yet another multi-month pool closure coming to Disney World. This time, Guests at Disney's Old Key West Resort will be impacted by this closure.
The Miller's Road leisure pool at Disney's Old Key West will close beginning September 29th through late November.
The upcoming closure will impact the Miller's Road leisure pool at Disney's Old Key West Resort. The closure for routine maintenance will begin on September 29th and last through late November.
What Does This Mean For You?

Guests staying at Disney's Old Key West will still be able to enjoy other pools at the resort. Guests can enjoy the Sandcastle feature pool, Old Turtle Pond leisure pool, and South Point leisure pool during the closure.
Guests are able to enjoy the Sandcastle feature pool, Old Turtle Pond leisure pool, and South Point leisure pool during the closure of the Miller's Road leisure pool.
Guests visiting Old Key West may hear or see refurbishment work.
