Another Pool Closure Hits Walt Disney World This Month

Scheduled closures at Walt Disney World can happen for all kinds of reasons. Possibilities for closures can include enhancements, routine maintenance, or even repair.
Even though we all may not like seeing or hearing construction, it is a necessary part of keeping things safe and up to date. We all want to be able to enjoy the nice new things, and refurbishments have to happen for this to occur.
Disney does its best to inform Guests with as much time as possible of any possible closures. Disney has recently informed Guests that pool closures are coming to both Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
New Pool Closure Announced

Disney has just announced that another pool closure is about to hit Walt Disney World Resort. The Fantasia kiddie pool and water play area at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort will close for maintenance.
The Fantasia kiddie pool and water play area will be closed from September 8th through late October for maintenance.
The kiddie pool and water play area will be closed from September 8 through late October. No official end date has been shared.
What Does This Mean For You?

If you are staying at All Star Movies during this refurbishment, you will probably see and hear construction. However, Guests will still be able to enjoy a dip in the pool during their stay, and there are even options for the kiddos.
The Fantasia Feature Pool and the Duck Pond Pool will remain open for Guests during the kiddie pool and water play area closure.
During the closure of the Fantasia kiddie pool and water play area, the Fantasia Feature Pool and the Duck Pond pool will remain open. With those looking for kiddie pool options, Guest are able to use the kiddie pools at Disney's All Star Music and All Star Sports.
