As Walt Disney once said, “We keep moving forward,” and that is very true at Walt Disney World. The layout of Disney’s Hollywood Studios changed with the closing of the Muppet Courtyard in early June to make room for a new Monsters Inc. Land. We have our first peek as the Muppets will relocate to the current Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster attraction in 2026.

DinoLand is about to become extinct at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. An entirely new land is on the way. This has now changed access to DINOSAUR and meeting our favorite Disney pals in DinoLand USA during this phased closure.

At Magic Kingdom, there are quite a few refurbishment and expansion projects with the lengthy closure of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the new Piston Peak National Park (formerly Rivers of America), and the new Villains Land expansion.

Refurbishments are a part of life at Disney Parks. These take place for various reasons. Disney often announces these refurbishments. However, without any advanced warning, work began on the Walt Disney World Railroad Main Street train station.

Thankfully, this did not affect the Walt Disney World Railroad’s operations. However, scrim and construction walls surrounded the train station entrance facing Main Street for several months.

Today, it appears that this refurbishment is now complete and all scrim and construction walls are now removed.

It is important to note that there is a change for the Walt Disney World Railroad due to the expansion of Villains Land and the Piston Peak National Park. The route for the Walt Disney World Railroad is now simply a shuttle between Main Street Station and Fantasyland Station only.

The “shuttle mode” for the Walt Disney World Railroad may seem like a bummer, but luckily, Stitch has joined the attraction. There is now updated audio, including Stitch! Check this out HERE.
