Disney's Animal Kingdom Looks Much Different This Morning
Guests at Disney's Animal Kingdom were a bit shocked this morning. What do you think of the change?
Big Changes at Walt Disney World

As Walt Disney once said, "We keep moving forward," and that is very true at Walt Disney World.Disney's Hollywood Studios underwent many changes this summer with 2 brand new shows: "Disney Villains Unfairly Ever After" and "The Little Mermaid-A Musical Adventure".
The layout of Disney's Hollywood Studios also changed with the closing of the Muppet Courtyard in early June to make room for a new Monsters Inc. Land.Where guests can stroll along the streets of Monstropolis among their favorite "scarers".
At Magic Kingdom, construction walls are in place along the standby queue for the Haunted Mansion and along the Rivers of America as work continues for the new Piston Peak National Park.
Attraction Removed from Animal Kingdom

DinoLand is about to become extinct at Disney's Animal Kingdom. An entirely new land is on the way. It is set to be themed around Tropical Americas! We can't wait to see Welcome to Pueblo Esperanza!
Unfortunately, this new expansion also means the closures for our favorite attractions. Yesterday, Septbember 1, 2025, was the last day for guests to enjoy The Boneyard.
This fun outdoor playspace for the young and the young at heart is now completely removed from both the map on the My Disney Experiene app and also the physical map available in the parks. Guests were given a newly desinged map of Disney's Animal Kingdom featuring goats from the Kilimanjaro Safari. Disney really does love goats.
How this may affect your trip

With The Boneyard now closed, large construction walls now line the pathway and block the main entrance into DinoLand. While Disney promised that 2025 would be your year to enjoy the DINOSAUR attraction, the pathway is now a winding maze.
The Boneyard is now completely removed from maps of Disney's Animal Kingdom
We are thankful that DINOSAUR is still available, but Dinsey's Animal Kingdom looks much more like a construction zone than a themed land now. Guests will need to head towards the main pathway Finding Nemo: The Big Blue...and Beyond! Before you reach ghe theatre, guests can turn right onto the pathway that once led guests to the Dino-Rama attraction.
Thankfully Animal Kingdom will have one less closure with "Zootopia Better Zoogether" opening soon.
