The Beak and Barrel Adds Another Restriction For Guests
The new pirate themed lounge in Magic Kingdom has just began welcoming Guests. However, reports of a new restriction has just been reported.
The Beak and Barrel

The Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge,The Beak and Barrel, officially opened on August 29th. All are welcome to raise a toast to the pirate life. Guests visiting this lounge will find a "sea-worthy selection of grogs and grub."
However, with all the excitement for this new lounge, booking a reservation was not easy!
The excitement came even before the lounge opened, as it was first met with an IT glitch, pausing reservations, Disney moving reservation bookings to the website, and then relaunching the booking window all before opening day!
First Restriction Placed

When we were first hearing about this fun pirate-themed lounge, it was shared that a time limit would be in place.
There is a 45 minute time limit for Guests visiting The Beak and Barrel.
Guest visiting the lounge would only have 45 minutes per party. With that being said we advise you to budget your time appropriately when visiting.
New Party Size Restriction Reported

Disney has now reduced the number of Guests per party at The Beak and Barrel. When Guests are trying to make a reservation for The Beak and Barrel, the maximum party size is limited to 8 Guests.
Reservations at Beak and Barrel can now only be made for parties of 8 Guests or less.
Previously, Guests could make reservations for up to 20 guests on one reservation. This change could be due to the lounge's size and setup. Beak and Barrel has standing room and smaller tables, with the largest single table seating 8 guests.
Does this new party size limitation impact your plans? We're hoping to go with a larger party to Beak and Barrel? Are you upset by this new restriction on party size? Let us know in the comments below, and be sure to share this post with your friends!
