Disney World Guests Left Frustrated Due to a Technical Glitch

Disney World Technical Glitch
The My Disney Experience app and website continue to be the heart of planning Disney vacations both at home and while on vacation. Guests manage reservations, tickets and itineraries on the "My Plans" section.
You can see your day planned out, including making Lightning Lane Multi-Pass selections. Although critics say using My Disney Experience for virtually everything on Disney vacations ties us to our phones too much, others love the convenience.
In addition to My Disney Experience, guests also book a variety of phone reservations including resort stays, dining, tickets, and experiences.
Disney Dining Reservation Glitch
Recently, Disney made updates to both the Walt Disney World and Disneyland apps to make booking dining reservations even easier for guests. However, technical glitches still plague Disney.
This morning, many Walt Disney World guests attempted to book dining reservations for Beak and Barrel. This is a Pirates of the Caribbean themed lounge will offically open on Saturday, August 29, 2025.
However, Disney announced that dining reservations would open today, August 14th, for the Beak and Barrel. Many excited Buccaneers logged on to book this new reservation at 7:00 am (ET) only to be frustrated.

This morning, not only are guests unable to book reservations for the brand new Beak and Barrel Lounge, but all dining reservations are unavailable to guests.
Walt Disney World Dining experiences downtime this morning
As of the time of this writing, guests attempting to book dining reservations are met with an error page indicating that the site is currently down for maintenance. Disney promises, "We're down for maintenance! But we'll be up and running soon, so please try again later."
This is very frustrating because it blocks all guests from booking dining reservations this morning. We are hopeful that the glitch will be corrected quickly.
