Disney's Beak and Barrel Has Officially Opened!
The highly anticipated pirate themed lounge, The Beak and Barrel, is now officially open! A ribbon cutting ceremony was held before opening this morning, check out the photos here!
Beak and Barrel
The Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge will be called The Beak and Barrel and will be open to pirates both big and small. All are welcome to raise a toast to the pirate life. Guests visiting this lounge will find a "sea-worthy selection of grogs and grub."

Disney shared, "There is so much to discover, so much that no matter how many times ye visit The Beak and Barrel, yer experience will differ!"
Reservation Glitch
Beak and Barrel dining reservations were originally paused due to an IT glitch. You can read more about that including Disney's statement HERE.
The booking window for reservations was then moved to August 20th at 7 PM. You can see the details HERE.
Disney even adjusted how dining reservations were booked by redirecting Guests to the website when accessing on the app. Luckily, there were no further reported technical issues for Guests when booking their reservations.
Ribbon Cutting
The Beak and Barrel has officially opened, and has begun welcoming Guests, but not without having an official ribbon cutting ceremony. Jeff Vahle, The President of Walt Disney World Resort, was even in attendance and shared photos. Check them out below:

In another Instagram post Jeff Vahle shares that there are three things he loves most about this new lounge. He loves how immersive it is, the service, and last but not least the food and the drinks! This is sure to be a unique and fun experience!
