Should Disney Keep Park Reservations If They Just Added More of These?
Annual Passholders and non-date based tickets still require a park reservation on most days. But does Disney really need to keep them if this keeps happening?
"Good to Go" Days

Park reservations are still required for guests with non-date-based tickets and Annual Passholders if visiting the parks before 2:00 pm on weekdays. Once a "Good to Go" day is added, it will remain "Good to Go."
These dates will be added sporadically and may be added days or weeks in advance. On "Good to Go" dates, Annual Passholders can visit the theme parks without making a reservation.

More "Good to Go" Days Added

Four more "Good to Go" days have been added to the Annual Passholder Admissions Calendar. Disney already added three "Good to Go" days for the first week of September.
September 7th, 9th, 10th, and 11th have been added as "Good to Go" days on the Annual Passholder Admission Calendar.

In the photos above, you can see the "Good to Go" days marked above with the green circle around the date. No reservation is required for Passholders on these days.
Should Disney Keep Park Reservations?

Disney began the Park Reservation after the parks shut down for the pandemic to help manage attendance. Now, Park Reservations are only required for Annual Passholders and other non-date based tickets.
Seven days out of the first two weeks of September have been added as "Good to Go" days.
This month, Disney has already added a total of 7 "Good to Go" days for the month of September. That is more than half (7 out of 13 days) of the first two weeks in September. One of these days was even a holiday (Labor Day).

September tends to have lower crowds with kids going back to school and hurricane season picking up, which is the most likely reason for more September "Good to Go" days. But, that is still a decent amount that have been added to the calendar, making some question if reservations are still needed.
For now, Disney is still requiring reservations for Passholders(unless it's a "Good to Go" day), but we can still be hopeful that someday, Passholders can once again visit the parks without a Park Reservation or a "Good to Go" day.
Do you think Disney should get rid of the Park Reservation system? Are you a Passholder? Do you mind making Park Reservations? Let us know in the comments below, and be sure to share this post with your friends!

They need to get rid of them! We are Military and still need to make reservations every time we go.
Thank you for reading. I wish they would get rid of them too.
ANNUAL PASSHOLDERS SHOULD NOT BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A RESERVATION AS RECURRING RENEWALS YEAR AFTER YEAR
IF YOU CAN BE SO GENEROUS TO TOURISTS IN THE RESORTS ITS ONLY FAIR THAT YOU DO IT FOR PASSHOLDERS ITS ABOUT TIME THEY ARE REWARDED FOR CONTINUING SUPPORT AND LOYALTY KEEP YOUR MAGNETS
Thank you for reading! I would love to see them gone too. I miss the days that you could pick your park depending on the bus that pulled up to the resort.
The park reservations at WDW are a joke. I never pay attention to the good-to-go days, and most of the time, I am making a park reservation as we are headed out the door. (We live 20 miles from WDW.) It's time for the reservations to go away. They are just an irritant for most passholders.
I agree. I hardly ever see dates "Sold out" anymore.
