This Unexpected Closure Is Now Affecting EPCOT Guests

Today is a BIG day at EPCOT with the start of the International Food and Wine Festival, but guests are left frustrated with this unexpected closure.

Today marks the start of the International Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT. This festival will run starting today through November 22, 2025. Guests will have a total of 90 days to enjoy over 35 global marketplaces.

Typically the first day of any EPCOT Festivals is quite busy as many guests want to sample the new dishes and check out the newest festival merchandise.

Disney Transportation

Getting to Walt Disney World can be a little frustrating at times. There is no doubt that a trip to Walt Disney World takes planning and patience!

Guests have several different options when it comes to getting to the parks. It seems like onsite guests may have more of an advantage. Guests have the option of taking the monorail, bus, skyliner, boat or they can even walk to the parks if their resort is close enough!

While many guests choose to drive their own vehicles to the Theme Parks. This is proving to be quite frustrating for guests visiting EPCOT.

Unexpected EPCOT Closure

With today being a busy one at EPCOT, we were surprised to see that work is still being done on the Moana parking lot.

We do understand that work must be complete, and that there is not a "slow" period at Walt Disney World. This is just disappointing to guests parking at EPCOT. If you plan to drive, allow yourself additional travel time for the next several days.
