Disney Brings New Hamilton Experience Soon

Hamilton is the story of the unlikely Founding Father determined to make his mark on the new nation as hungry and ambitious as he is.
From orphan to Washington's right-hand man, rebel to war hero, a loving husband caught in the country's first scandal, to the Treasury head who made an untrusting world believe in the American economy.
The Walt Disney Company announced that a special filming of "Hamilton" would come to movie theatres in October 2021, but during the pandemic this title was added to Disney+ on July 3, 2020.
Hamilton Coming to Theatres
As exciting as it was to stream Hamilton on Disney+, many still missed the opportunity to see the pagentry of Hamilton on the big theatre screen.
Disney just delivered on a promise many years in the making. Hamilton is coming to theatres on September 5, 2025. Get ready because tickets go on sale today, August 6, 2025.
The real question is will this turn into a sing-along event? This sounds like an amazing opportunity to experience this show with fellow Disney and Hamilton fans.
What does this mean for Disney+?
This is a pretty historic move to take something currently offered on Disney+ and bring it to the movie theater. It will be interesting to see if this theatrical release will affect Hamilton streaming on Disney+.
