Urgent Warning for Disney World Guests
Guests hoping to soak in the Disney magic are now issued a warning that may affect their plans. Find out what this may mean for guests visiting and for your future trip to Walt Disney World.
Disney World Travel Tips

There are many things to consider when planning your trip to Walt Disney World. From rainstorms to hurricane planning, Florida weather can put a few wrinkles even in the best-laid travel plans.
With a park located in Central Florida, Walt Disney World tries to update guests on weather advisories as quickly as possible.
Florida has been hit pretty hard this year with record low temperatures in January, a fog advisory, and even major disruptions at the Orlando International Airport.
Disney World Weather Warning

Many guests are well aware that the summers at Walt Disney World can be hot. This may be why summer is the cheapest time to visit Walt Disney World, but now an extreme heat wave is affecting the park for several days in a row.
Today, July 29, 2025, the National Weather Service issued an Extreme Heat Warning for the greater Orlando area (Volusia, Lake, Seminole, Orange, and Osceola Counties), which includes the entire Walt Disney World Resort.
Dangerous heat is expected with temperatures between 95° and 100°, but this will feel like 112° to 115°. The National Weather Service suggests staying hydrated, wearing light clothing, and staying in air conditioning.
Tips to Stay Cool at Disney

With Walt Disney World being an outdoor theme park, staying in air conditioning is a bit difficult. Thankfully, Disney has brought many entertainment options indoors to help combat the Florida heat. Check these out HERE.
Today temperatures will feel like 115° at Walt Disney World
All quick service dining spots offer free cups of water to guests. This can be a great way to stay hydrated and enjoy a little shade and air conditioning throughout your day at Walt Disney World. You can check out our listing of 10 Great Ways to Beat the Heat HERE.

Stay home! My daughter and family went three years ago and caught COVID. Two years ago they got a really bad flu. This year they went but didn't go to the parks and no one got sick. Stay home people if you are sick! Think about others and not your selfish self!
We aren’t coming until early November. We wonder what to expect then.
We'll keep you updated!
@Mary Baer, we're kinda planning on the same, Thanksgiving week out at Pop.
Just looking at previous times, it says could be between 70-80 during the day and 50-60 during the nights. Really kinda hoping for those temps.
That's the same temperatures we have in New Jersey. Although not quite as humid as Florida, we are very close. Been about 100 for the past 2 days and again today.
Oh my! Stay safe in those high temps.
