Many Disney fans dream of a Disney Park vacation, but find the planning not so magical.

In May, Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro shares that the Walt Disney Company will use AI (Artificial Intelligence) to help make Disney Park planning easier.

D'Amaro shares, "A Disney vacation means a lot to our fans, and we're using AI to reduce the complexities around planning and booking a trip and trying to make that whole experience specifically tailored to what our Guests want most."

The Walt Disney World website will soon begin testing with Google Cloud and feature an AI-powered tool with a very limited number of randomly selected Guests from both the United States and Canada. After this initial testing and after receiving input from the test group, it will expand in phases.

What we are most excited for is a new search engine that will allow Disney Guests to search for a month or season rather than selecting an arrival/departure date. Guests can enter their preferences for room type, specific resort amenities, and even their favorite Disney characters to find the perfect Walt Disney World Resort room.

Finally, this new AI-powered tool will offer a side-by-side comparison of various Walt Disney World Resorts, including factors such as transportation, pricing, and amenities.

Limitations to AI Disney Planning

For this initial testing, the AI-powered tool will focus on Walt Disney World Resorts. Unfortunately, this will not include Theme Park planning such as Park tickets, Lightning Lane passes, or advanced dining reservations.

Disney will soon test AI to reduce the complexities around Walt Disney World Resort planning.

That being said, if this initial testing goes well, AI-powered tool could expand to help with Park planning in the future.
