Extended Evening Hours
Guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts can experience the parks at night after everyone else has left. This is one of the many great benefits of staying at these high-tier resorts.
Typically, Epcot hosts Extended Evening Hours on Monday, and Magic Kingdom hosts Extended Evening Hours on Wednesday. This has been the case for the last few years, with a few exceptions.
This summer, this schedule shifted quite a bit, changing Extended Evening Hours that were typically offered at Magic Kingdom to Disney's Animal Kingdom for several dates.
Hollywood Studios Extended Evening Hours
We do love extra time to enjoy Disney's Animal Kingdom, but this park offers fewer attractions for Extended Evening Hours compared to Magic Kingdom.
Thankfully, Walt Disney World now offers Extended Evening Hours for Disney's Hollywood Studios on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 9:00 pm until 11:00 pm. For reference, Extended Evening Hours are rarely offered at Disney's Hollywood Studios and are typically not offered on a Friday.
This is a great change nonetheless. We hope this trend towards Disney's Hollywood Studios Extended Evening Hours will continue through the fall, as Magic Kingdom is busy hosting Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on select dates.
What attractions are open for Extended Evening Hours?
During the extended evening theme park hours, select merchandise and food, and beverage locations will be available. Disney shares that the following attractions will be available:
- Alien Swirling Saucers
- Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
- Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Star Tours
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- Toy Story Mania
