Welcome Home Perks Announced at Disney World

There is nothing quite like hearing a friendly Disney Cast Member saying “Welcome Home” as you check in at Walt Disney World. Check out the great new perks offered for a limited time for select guests.

Disney Bubble

Believe it or not, the Walt Disney Company did not coin the term the “Disney Bubble.” This concept actually came from guests describing why they chose to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort.

The idea behind the “Disney Bubble” is that once you arrive at Walt Disney World, you never have to leave the Disney magic. Some guests love the magic of Disney so much that they invest in the Disney Vacation Club (DVC).

DVC is a timeshare run by Disney that has the flexibility of a point system. You can book the time of year you travel and the type of accommodation, including your resort of choice. DVC guests also enjoy a great number of perks to throughtout the year.

Welcome Home Weeks

One of these perks for DVC guests is special “Welcome Home Weeks” beginning on August 14 through September 16, 2025. Special offerings will include complimentary treats, special gifts, and fun character meet and greets held at Walt Disney, Disneyland, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort. Let’s look at what Walt Disney World Vacation Club Members can look forward to.

Enjoy special Disney Character meet and greeets at the Atalantic Dance Hall at Disney’s Boardwalk on August 25-27 and September 8-10, 2025, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

DVC memgers can enjoy a complimentary Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar, ice cream sandwich or fruit bar at the following locations:

• Tower of Terror Courtyard (Hollywood Studios): Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:00 am-2:00 pm
• Upcountry Landing in Asia (Animal Kingdom): Thursdays and Fridays 1:00 pm-4:00 pm
• Tomorrowland Terrace (Magic Kingdom): Wednesdays 11:00 am-2:00 pm
• Gateway to Discovery (Disney Springs) Mondays and Fridays 1:00 pm-4:00 pm
• Lobby of Living Seas Salon (EPCOT): Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00 pm-4:00 pm
• Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort (DVC Preview Center): Daily 11:00 am-5:00 pm

DVC Members can also enjoy a free reusable shopping bag. Pick up yours at A Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center at Disney Springs during normal business hours starting August 14 until September 16, 2025.

While at Disney Springs, DVC Members can also enjoy a free donut at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew during normal operating hours on Wednesdays startint August 20, 2025 (one donut per member, per week, while supplies last).
