Walt Disney World has just made a big update for Single Riders. Check out the newest update and how it can improve your next vacation.
My Disney Experience App

It is hard to visit Walt Disney World without using Disney’s app. After all, it has everything you need to enjoy a magical vacation! Everything is done on the app including making dining reservations, ordering food, making Lightning Lanes reservations, and even checking current wait times.
Check out the update to the app we shared last week HERE.
For example, when Walt Disney World transitioned from Disney Genie+ to the new Lightning Lane last summer, a new update was needed. It is always a good idea to make sure your My Disney Experience app is updated before your next Disney vacation.
Single Rider Line

Single rider lines are separate lines in select attractions for those traveling solo or those who don’t mind riding the attraction without the rest of their party. Single riders get placed wherever a seat is available.
Typically, the line is much shorter than the regular standby queue, which means less waiting in line!
Attractions at Disney World that use single rider access include Expedition Everest, Test Track (under refurbishment), Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Occasionally we see Soarin’ and Rise of the Resistance offer a Single Rider Line as well.
Newest Update

- In the My Disney Experience App, use the “Search for Single Rider. Click on the magnifying glass and type “Single Rider” into the search bar.

- Once you have found the Single Rider option, click Find on Map and you will be given the available options for Single Rider attractions.

All the open Single Rider attractions should populate on the map and you can see quickly which ones are available. Currently, the only attractions that are officially listed with Single Rider options are Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and Expedition Everest. But others may open from time to time.
Disney is using a ‘S’ logo to show Guests which attractions have a Single Rider option, and if the Single Rider option is currently open on wait time boards in the parks.
It has been reported that in the parks, Guests can check out the wait time boards to see if the Single Rider option is operating. If the ‘S’ logo is present next to a particular attraction then the Single Rider option is open and welcoming Single Riders. This is great news and will be even better if it eventually gets transferred into the app, as Guests won’t need to venture to the attraction to determine if the Single Rider option is open.
