Unfortunately, refurbishments have to happen to keep operations running smoothly. Refurbishments can include attractions, hotels, shops, recreational activities, and even restaurants.
Refurbishments can last days to months, depending on the work that needs to be completed.
It can be disappointing when a refurbishment occurs during your Disney vacation. No one likes to spend months planning a trip only to find something you have been looking forward to impacted by a refurbishment.
Disney’s Hilton Head

Disney has shared on their website that Disney’s Hilton Head Resort will be undergoing exterior maintenance. This will take place from September 8, 2025 through March 2026
The refurbishment is planned from September 8, 2025, through March 2026, and will include exterior maintenance. The enhancements may impact views within the resort.
Construction will occur during daytime hours, so guests may hear or see construction. The website states “The ongoing enhancements may impact views from several places within the Resort hotel property.”
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort

Another refurbishment listed on Disney’s website will occur at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. This exterior refurbishment will occur from February 9, 2026, through May 2026.

Just like with Disney’s Hilton Head Resort, the refurbishment work will occur during daytime hours. Guests may be able to hear and see the construction during that time.
