Disney World Fans Are Outraged Over Another Costume Change
Disney World Cast Member costume changes are causing quite a stir among Disney Fans lately. Now fans have spotted another costume change, and many of them are not happy about this one either.
Change to Disney Cast Member Costumes
Cast Member costumes have caused quite a commotion at Walt Disney World. For example, you may have seen that recently, the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party cast costumes changed.
The popular, bright, whimsical yellow, green, orange, and purple outfits, featuring dresses and aprons or pants and shirts, have been retired. This year's replacement outfits have left many fans unimpressed. You can see them HERE.
But that isn't the only Cast Member costume attracting attention. Now another change has some fans absolutely beside themselves.
Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage
For many, Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage is a must-do every time they visit Disney's Hollywood Studios. The stage show, which has run for decades, allows fans to relive the romance and magic of a tale as old as time in a lavish Broadway-style musical version of Beauty and the Beast.
However, last week, fans began to notice a change. The show's female performers got brand new costumes for their ballroom dance routines.
Previously, the waltzers wore bright pink gowns that were positively covered in sparkles. The tiered skirts resembled cascading rose petals. They shimmered across the stage in them.
Now, the dancers have new dresses to replace the show-stopping gowns. And many fans are not happy with the change.
The New Beauty and the Beast Costumes
The new costumes are a darker color, almost a fuchsia. They no longer have the petal layers. And, while the fabric itself shimmers, they are devoid of sparkles except for a few on the bodice. They do still twirl nicely, which is the most important thing.

While some fans probably didn't notice the change at all, many of the show's fans are unhappy about it. They feel the new costumes are inferior.
We are not sure why the old dresses vanished. But the new ones have some people feeling their beauty and have left others feeling beastly.
