Part of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is now closed forever. A new map has debuted, and you can see it here.

As Walt Disney once said, “We keep moving forward,” and that is very true at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Soon DinoLand USA will become extinct to make way for a new experience.

A brand new land, Tropical Americas, will offer a brand new Indy attraction, a new carousel, and an Encanto attraction

To make room for this new land, DinoLand USA will have a phased closure. Yesterday, TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun and Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures closed. Our own, Kenny the Pirate got to be one of the last Guests to ride TriceraTop Spin!

Among the closure of TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun and Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, we have also seen other recent changes in this land. We saw the  DVC kiosk be removed from DinoLand.

Goofy and Pluto are now greeting guests near Restaurantosaurus in DinoLand.

We also reported a new location for Goofy and Pluto greeting Guests, as their previous location is now surrounded by construction walls. They can now be found greeting guests near Restaurantosaurus.

Disney was quick to update Animal Kingdom’s park maps. Today, Guests can no longer view the area of DinoLand where TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun and Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures once were on the My Disney Experience App. They are now covered by greenery on the map.

Disney has not yet announced when the Boneyard, Restaurantosaurus, Dino-Bite Snacks, and Trilo-Bites will close. Be sure to make plans if you hope to enjoy the remaining parts of DinoLand USA in 2025.
