Fireworks Testing
But Universal’s new theme park is about to get even MORE Epic!
On the evening of July 28, 2024, lucky bystanders were treated to a spectacular vision. That is because the park just appears to have tested a fireworks display.
While there was no audible music from most perspectives, there were certainly some recognizable shapes among the bursts of pyro. One of these included what looked distinctly like a Poke Ball!
What This Means for You
Epic Universe has hinted at a nighttime spectacular. Fans have been hoping for a nightly fireworks show.
Currently, Universal Orlando is offering two temporary nighttime shows: Hogwarts Forever, in Islands of Adventure is a projection show on Hogwarts Castle with the tiniest bit of pyro. This show is expected to end on August 25, 2024. Over in Universal Studios, fans can catch Cinesational – a Symphonic Spectacular, a drone show, which is scheduled to end in time to make way for Halloween Horror Nights.
It is unknown whether these shows will return. It is also unknown whether the fireworks show at Epic Universe will be a nightly occurrence or how long such a show will be available.
Will fireworks light up Epic Universe nightly?
Certainly, a nightly fireworks spectacular in Universal Orlando would be a huge draw for fans. We are hoping it will be something that can be enjoyed on a consistent basis. However, time will tell whether that is the case.
