Universal will be adding two ride closures to the calendar. Here are all the details so you can adjust plans if needed.
Closures
No one likes to hear that a closure will be taking place in a theme park during their visit. This is especially true if it is for an attraction that you and your travel party have on your must-do list.
However, closures are necessary to keep the attractions maintained and safe for everyone. Other times, closures allow Universal to save some money or use the space for other things.
It also makes parkgoers weary because a closure of one attraction can mean an increase in other wait times across the park since there are fewer places to go. Thankfully, this next closure probably won’t affect your plans too much.
Fast & Furious Supercharged
Probably one of the least popular attractions at Universal Studios Florida is Fast & Furious Supercharged. Have you seen all 87 Fast & Furious movies? No? Me either.
For this attraction, step into the crew’s headquarters (which are filled with movie props) and ride along in a street chase. You will also see cars used in the movies as well.
The ride is located in the San Francisco area of Universal Studios Florida, but it does not have the same popularity as other rides in the park. It will close from August 19 to November 3 – presumably to allow the use of space for Halloween Horror Nights.
Men in Black Alien Attack
The earth depends on you to zap the aliens away with your laser gun in order to save New York City. You’ll encounter 120 different kinds of aliens, many of which were created specifically for this attraction.
Men in Black Alien Attack will close later this year.
Men in Black Alien Attack will be closed from November 4 to December 10, 2024. This is likely a refurbishment of sorts given the random dates and small time frame.
Do you have a Universal trip planned during these times? Will the closures affect your plans at all? Let us know in the comments below, and share this post with a friend.
