New EPCOT Documentary Coming Soon

A brand new documentary featuring EPCOT is coming soon. Will you be watching?

EPCOT Transformation

EPCOT has been in a state of transformation for the past few years! We have seen the opening of three new attractions, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.

We have also seen the opening of World Celebration and the installation of the Walt the Dreamer statue.

Even with all of these new additions to the park, EPCOT is still not complete! We are still looking forward to seeing the opening of Communicore Hall and Plaza. Until then, guests continue having to navigate through plenty of construction and seeing construction walls all over the park.

Luminous

Guests have also seen new nighttime spectaculars come and go. During Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration, Harmonious debuted.

Harmonious was short lived, and in December of 2023, EPCOT’s newest nighttime show, Luminous made its debut.

Luminous features dazzling fireworks, fountains, lights and music. This all-new show demonstrates how each of our unique melodies comes together to form a great symphony – the symphony of us. To see thoughts about Luminous, take a look at this post HERE.

EPCOT Becoming

A brand new documentary featuring EPCOT will be available on National Geographic at 10/9CT! There are no known streaming dates for Disney+ or Hulu at this time. EPCOT Becoming will focus on the transformation of EPCOT.

A new documentary featuring EPCOT entitled, EPCOT Becoming will premiere on National Geographic on April 29th!

Viewers can also have a behind the scenes look at all of the work Imagineers and Cast Members did for the debut of Luminous.
