Many people adore the Main Street Electrical Parade. It is a true Disney classic. The nighttime parade featured over 600,000 lights!

We have not seen the parade since 2022 at Disneyland. But, now Disney Parks is bringing it to life in a whole new way and taking it to the sky! That’s right! The Main Street Electrical Parade inspired the Disney Electrical Sky Parade.

This glorious nighttime show will light up the skies over Disneyland Paris! Audiences can enjoy a new celestial take on an old favorite.

How is such a thing possible? Disney is utilizing drone technology to make it all happen!

According to Dinsey Parks Blog, “In thousands of sparkling lights, a spectacular festival pageant of more than 500 drones, nostalgic images inspired by the Main Street Electrical Parade, including Elliott the adorable dragon, will dance across the night sky to a remix of the unforgettable electro-syntho-magnetic musical sounds.”

You don’t have to book a ticket to Paris to catch a glimpse of the magic, Disney Parks Blog has kindly given the world a look at the glorious show. If it is this neat on a screen, can you imagine how cool it must be in person?

Could We See More Drone Shows?

New Drone Shows Are Heading To Orlando Theme Parks

Disney has made no announcements promising a drone show for its US parks. Even so, it is not outside of the realm of possibility that we could someday see drones in the night skies in Orlando theme parks.

This is because Dronisos, the company responsible for the Disneyland Paris show, has established an office in Orlando. Not only that, but Former Vice President of Entertainment at Disneyland Paris David Duffy is stepping into that same role for The Walt Disney World Resort. You can read more about the potential this combination of events brings HERE.
