Not only is Disney open for regular hours every day of the year, but oftentimes they put on special events! Some of these are just regular events that give Guest more time in the park. And other times, they are themed events that run on a very limited basis.
Disney Channel Event
An all-new nostalgic event celebrates Disney Channel. This After Dark Nite highlights themed offerings from favorite Disney Channel shows! Enjoy fantastic music, high-energy parties, memorable characters, and more!
Here is a quick look at what you can expect to experience:
- The “High School Musical” pep rally with songs from the show
- The “Phineas and Ferb” dance party with the characters
- “Camp Rock” karaoke
- “Descendants” at the Rivers of America will invite you to take a cruise on the Sailing Ship Columbia and enjoy music from the “Descendants” trilogy.
- Photo backdrops from favorite Disney Channel shows and movies, including “Lizzie McGuire,” “The Cheetah Girls,” “Teen Beach Movie” and more
- Specially themed foods and snacks and dining packages
The event will run at Disneyland on March 5 and 7, 2024. Magic Key holders can get tickets on December 9, and general admission will open on December 13, 2023.
Other Disneyland After Dark Nites
Disneyland offers several great After Dark Nites each year. In 2023, I really enjoyed Throwback Nite, which celebrated Disneyland’s early years. You can read my full review HERE.
For 2024, Sweethearts’ Nite, Star Wars Nite, and Pride Nite will return. These all run in the first half of the year as the second half is devoted to Halloween and Christmas.
Sweethearts’ Nite runs January 23, 25, 30 and February 1, 6, 8, 12, 14. Tickets open December 12 for Magic Key holders and December 14 for everyone else. Read Donna’s review of Sweethearts’ Nite HERE.
Star Wars Nite is a really fun (and popular) event at Disneyland! This event takes place on April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 and May 2, 7, 9. At this time, there are no details on when tickets can be purchased.
Finally, Pride Nite will return for the second year. Disney has these dates set for June 18 and 20. However, we do not have ticket information at this time.
