Walt Disney World just released longer park hours for this fall. Will you be traveling during these dates?
Park Hours
Our Kenny the Pirate writing team shares the latest theme park hours with you as Disney releases them. While the initial hours are a great way to begin preparing for your trip, usually Disney updates the hours as dates loom nearer. We want to make sure that you have all the information that you need for your upcoming trip.
It is always exciting when Disney adds to its hours of operation because you can plan what to do with extra time in the parks! When park hours extend, it means your early entry times might shift! So be sure you check the schedule so that you can arrive accordingly if you wish to utilize the Early Entry benefit.
Longer Park Hours
Earlier this week, we shared that EPCOT will offer longer park hours this fall just in time for EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays. Be sure to check out these hours HERE.
Oftentimes, park hours are extended when larger crowds are expected at the Disney Parks. These new park hours may indicate that the second week in October may be the start of high fall break crowds at Walt Disney World.
Disney just updated even more park hours for October. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests can enjoy an additional 30 minutes in the park starting October 8th through October 14th. The park officially opens at 8:30 a.m. and offers Early Entry at 8:00 a.m. as opposed to opening officially at 9:00 a.m. previously.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom opens at 9:00 a.m. on most dates this fall for all guests. Disney’s Animal Kingdom will also open earlier the week of October 8th through October 14th at 8:00 am for all guests and 7:30 am for Early Entry.
Magic Kingdom Park Hours
Typically on nights with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, guests can enter the park at 8:00 am with Early Entry for Walt Disney Resort guests let in at 7:30 am. In September and the first week of October, this changes to a 9:00 am opening and a 8:30 am Early Entry.
The week of October 8th, we see a change for Magic Kingdom. For party nights on October 9th, 10th, 12th, and 13th, Magic Kingdom opens at 8:00 a.m. for all guests and 7:30 a.m. for Early Entry. On October 11th, Magic Kingdom will stay open an hour later until 11:00 p.m.
