Finally, we can enjoy Walt Disney World even later this holiday season. You don’t want to miss these extended hours.

Since Walt Disney World reopened in 2020, park hours are shorter than before. This may be in large part due to the two special offers for guests. Extended theme park hours were first introduced in 2021 for select guests such as DVC Members and also Deluxe Resort guests with Extended Evening Hours. Although these are “free” these guests are still paying a high price to be included in this “perk.”

Secondly, the introduction of Disney After Hours. This is a specially ticketed experience that occurs after the gates close for the night, extending access to favorite attractions and providing you with more opportunities to have a magical Disney experience.

The holiday season is truly magical at EPCOT. The Festival of the Holidays is an amazing experience where guests can enjoy the beautiful candlelight processional, enjoy delicious holiday food booths, take part in a fun scavenger hunt, cookie stroll, and enjoy great entertainment! Check out all the fun details HERE.

Festival of the Holidays will begin November 24th through December 30th. We can now see park hours for the start of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays and guests have reason to celebrate. On November 24th, EPCOT opens at 8:30 a.m. for Early Entry and opens at 9:00 a.m. for all guests.

For the start of the Festival of the Holidays, EPCOT closes at 9:30 p.m. rather than the typical 9:00 p.m. This also adds additional time for the Extended Evening Hours for guests at Deluxe Resorts from 9:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.

This additional thirty minutes will allow guests more opportunities to enjoy the many great offerings of this festival. We look forward to more hours being released over the upcoming weeks for this festival.

EPCOT will have longer park hours for the start of Festival of the Holidays.

What do you think of these longer hours? Do you wish the parks stayed open even later? Will you attend EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays this year? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.

I still think extended evening hours should be for All the Disney Resorts (like they used to be)not just the Deluxe resorts, I was disappointed reading this. We are arriving November 24th. We are glad we bought both MK and HS party tickets for the following week, they’ll be opened later for the party guests :)
