Halfway to the Holidays
Disney is using the Halfway to the Holidays as a time to make special announcements regarding the Christmas and holiday season at Disneyland, Disney World, runDisney and Disney Cruise Line.
This week guests can even check out some fun holiday treats to celebrate the occasion. We are seeing so many exciting announcements this week. So far, we know Mickey and Minnie will have a new holiday look. We are also delighted to see this special holiday overlay return to Disney.
Dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party have also been announced for 2023.
Festival of the Holidays
The holiday season is truly magical at EPCOT. The Festival of the Holidays is an amazing experience where guests can enjoy the beautiful candlelight processional, enjoy delicious holiday food booths, take part in a fun scavenger hunt, cookie stroll, and enjoy great entertainment! We are excited to see Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses return as a holiday overlay.
Disney has just released the dates for this year’s festival. Get ready to mark your calendars! Festival of the Holidays will beginning November 24th through December 30th.
This festival will once again include the beloved Storytellers. These performers will be staged in countries around the World Showcase during the festival. They interact with Guests and share customs and stories from the country they represent. Storytellers create an authentic experience for those looking to learn more about the countries!

There is no word so far on the Cosmic Rewind overlay that debuted last year. We will keep you informed if Disney shares that information!
