An iconic holiday attraction overlay returns to Disney this year!

We love a good holiday overlay. This iconic overlay returns this year, and we couldn’t be happier!

Jingle Cruise. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Living with the Land. All of these great Disney World attractions transform for the holidays to provide a unique experience that can’t be replicated the rest of the year!

Over at Disneyland, Guests can enjoy an overlay of Haunted Mansion and it’s a small world. Typically, the Haunted Mansion overlay runs from August to early January. However, it appears that may not be the case this year.

However, we do have official confirmation that it’s a small world will get it’s iconic holiday overlay again at Disneyland!

Craving even more holiday cheer to look forward to? Well, I’m thrilled to let you know that the fan-favorite attraction transformation “it’s a small world” Holiday will return to Disneyland park this holiday season!

This is always on my must-do list during the holidays, as I love seeing the children in the attraction don their festive attire. Somehow, it feels even more magical than it already is throughout the year!

Unfortunately, we do not have the date for when the ride will close to transform it or when you will be able to ride it for the holiday season other than fall of 2023. We will update when we know!

Although the attraction first opened in 1966, “it’s a small world” holiday overlay celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022. To celebrate the joyous milestone, the attraction showcased the number 25 throughout the boat ride around the world. Read more about that in Marisol’s post.
