runDisney Announces an All New Event for the Holidays

Calling all runners! runDisney has announced a brand new event for the holiday season.

Halfway to the Holidays

Just like Halfway to Halloween not long ago, Disney is using the Halfway to the Holidays as a time to make special announcements regarding the Christmas and holiday season at Disneyland, Disney World, and Disney Cruise Line.

In fact, they even pulled out some special treats in the parks right now to celebrate! See this post for a full list of treats and snacks to enjoy this week.

runDisney Virtual 12ks of Christmas

We are so excited to see that runDisney is getting in on all of the holiday fun too! They have announced a brand new event, the Virtual 12ks of Christmas.

runDisney has announced the virtual 12ks of Christmas event happening this year!

The first-of-its-kind virtual event features three 4K running events and a challenge, all hosted by favorite Disney friends. It’s also a perfect way to stay motivated during the holiday season and keep you from sledding off your training plans for a future runDisney event.

The only thing sweeter than a chorus of Christmas carolers will be the sound of you crossing the finish line. Plus, who doesn’t love a few extra presents during the holidays, especially when they’re for your hard-earned efforts!

Registration

More details relating to the brand new event will be released this summer. If you are interested in this brand new event, registration opens on July 25, 2023!
