New Land
We first learned about the attraction, which is part of the new Illumination’s Minion Land expansion, a few months ago. With the popularity of the Despicable Me movie franchise, Universal is expanding from its existing Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction to create an entirely new land!

Visit Minion Land’s unique ‘meet & greet’ location and pose for photos with Illumination film characters like the Minions, Gru, Margo, Edith and Agnes, along with characters from the film ‘Sing’ at the Illumination Theater.
Perhaps the coolest attraction in this space is the Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast! The attraction will be located at the former spot of Shrek 4-D at Universal Studios in Orlando. In addition to the attractions, the land has FOUR eateries. These include Illumination’s Minion Cafe, which will serve mischief in the dining room and inventive cuisine.
