Not too long ago, The team at last year’s D23 announced that Disney is adding a brand new ship to its fleet! This new ship is called the Disney Treasure! It is all set to have an adventure theme for cruisers to enjoy as they embark on voyages.
A HUGE Milestone
The Disney Treasure has swiftly gone from concept art to reality. And we are s excited to see it all come together!
In fact, just a few weeks ago, the construction of the Disney Treasure hit a huge milestone. The bridge block was installed. This means that the Disney Treasure now has everything it needs to sail through waterways around the world.
For those unfamiliar with the anatomy of a ship, the bridge block contains important navigational equipment for the ship, including the ship’s wheel. The future captain and their crew will be able to control the ship’s direction and speed from an onboard command center.
Now that the ship has everything it needs to be seaworthy, it is even closer to completion! We can’t wait to see how the rest of the details come together.
