Disney Cruiseline Placeholder Discounts
One way to save money on your next Disney Cruise is to consider booking another before you ever disembark the ship! Disney Cruise Line offers a special placeholder discount for those who wish to embark on a future cruise.
All you have to do is put down a deposit for a future cruise before you disembark from your cruise. Then you can apply that deposit to a future sailing and receive a discount on that sailing!
If you cancel your placeholder or if you don't use your placeholder within 24 months, Disney will refund you 100% of the deposit.
A Huge Placeholder Discount Increase
Typically, Disney Cruise Line placeholders are worth 10% off on most sailings. However, sometimes Disney increases the value of the placeholder for select sailings.
Right now, even more cruises are eligible for Disney's biggest placeholder discount. If you apply your placeholder discount to select sailings, you will receive 25% off the fare.
Which Sailings Are Eligible?
So many sailings are eligible for the 25% discount. Perhaps yours is too! And remember, many sailings are also eligible for 20% off when you use your placeholder.

If you already booked a placeholder and your rate just increased, don't worry. You can apply these new savings to your future cruise. Disney will refund the difference for you.
