Obsessions with bags and purses are a real thing. Throw in some luxury handbags and add fun Disney characters to them and you have a reason to start a whole new collection!
It is easy to see why and how these collections begin, especially when new bags come out every few weeks or so. Recently, the adorable Bambi collection was released. You can see pictures of it HERE. The Lion King
In Disney’s The Lion King movie, viewers travel to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival.
Scar, Mufasa’s brother and former heir to the throne, has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile.
With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his. In addition to The Lion King‘s theatrical release, you can also see it on Broadway live! It’s my (Susan) favorite Broadway show. Take a look at why I love it HERE.

New Collection
In April, shopDisney Japan released the new Lion King Dooney & Bourke collection! And it’s coming to the United States soon! This is the second Lion King collection from Disney Dooney & Bourke. The first one released in 2019.
The Dooney and Bourke Lion King collection includes brightly colored artwork featuring young Simba, Nala, Timon, Pumbaa and Zazu in an all-over jungle print.
The collection will include at least three silhouettes: a crossbody bag, a drawstring shoulder bag and a tote bag and debuts on shopDisney on June 19, 1923. Be on the lookout for them at Disney Parks, too!
