Rare Characters
Earlier this year, several rare characters began greeting guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As with everything, this list is subject to change. Some of these experiences will be appearances while others are meet and greets. It appears that these rare characters will interact with guests now through February 14, 2023.
At that time, guests could see Edna Mode, (near Echo Lake), Donald and Daisy Duck (on the balcony near the main entrance of Hollywood Studios), Frozone (on Hollywood Blvd), and Clarice with Chip ‘n’ Dale (on The Hollywood Brown Derby Lawn).
Updated Character Spots
However, when February came, Disney extended many of these characters in new locations and costumes.
There are two amazing pairs of characters to visit. First, you can meet Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl. This incredible opportunity allows guests to have both characters in the same picture. The Incredibles are meeting at Echo Lake near Hollywood and Vine.
Not only that, but Powerline Max and Goofy have moved from socially greeting guests to meeting them at the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge entrance now.
And don’t miss Chip and Dale in their Rescuer outfits. They’re meeting guests at Hollywood Studios near the Indiana Jones Stunt Show. Another great feature of seeing these characters is they all have PhotoPass photographers ready to snap your pictures.
New Location
Today, Edna Mode is greeting guests outside the former Voyage of the Little Mermaid show. Unfortunately, this is still an appearance rather than an actual meet, but she is closer to guests and will pose for photos. She is such a fun character to interact with!
