There was some rare character sightings this morning! Now we have a schedule to share with you.
Rare Characters
Here at Kenny the Pirate we love rare characters! What do you consider a rare character? One who does not meet in the parks often? Perhaps one that is from an older movie or show? Whatever your definition of a rare character is, they sure a special treat!
Many times you will see rare characters at special events. For example, we got to meet Duffy, Remy and Emilie, Jiminy Cricket, Mushu, Miguel, and more during the recent Wine and Dine post race event. We also got to meet Moana and the princesses with their PRINCES at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party.
Maybe the most rare character we have seen is meeting for Lunar New Year celebrations! This morning we shared Powerline Max meeting guests at Hollywood Studios. Check that out HERE. I (Heather) love Max in this costume. This is probably my favorite meet for him, and I wish it would be a regular meet and greet.
Character Meet and Greet List and Dates
As with everything, this list is subject to change. Some of these experiences will be appearances while others are meet and greets. Here is the tentative schedule.
From February 1 through February 14, 2023:
- Goofy – near the entrance to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (meet and greet)
- Clarice with Chip ‘n’ Dale on The Hollywood Brown Derby Lawn (appearance)
Starting TODAY February 1, 2023:
- Frozone on Hollywood Blvd. (appearance)
- Edna Mode near Echo Lake (appearance)
- Donald and Daisy Duck on the balcony near the main entrance of Hollywood Studios (where they were previously making appearances, this is an appearance)
- Mr. and Mrs. Incredible near Echo Lake (meet and greet)
- Max Goof in his Powerline costume on Grand Avenue near entrance to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (meet and greet)
There is no end date to these last meet and greets listed. I am hopefully they stick around longer than a couple of weeks!
