TRON
Magic Kingdom is set to officially open the newest attraction Tron Lightcycle Run on April 4, 2023. Cast Members, Annual Passholders, DVC Members, and even D23 Members all enjoyed special previews of this new coaster.

There will also be a unique attraction photo that you will not want to miss. With many special preview events ending, Disney shares a soft opening for this new attraction.
Soft Opening
We are often prepared for delays in new attractions and refurbishments, not that they will be available earlier than expected. Disney just shared that from “March 20th through April 2nd, guests may have the early opportunity to experience TRON Lightcycle/Run during a limited soft open virtual queue or purchase of Individual Lightning Lane entry.“

Ways To Ride
Guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to enter this attraction. A standby queue will not be available. Each Guest can request to enter the virtual queue no more than once per day during regular park hours.
Guests must have valid admission and a theme park reservation to join the virtual queue. There will be daily opportunities to request to join the virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle Run at 7:00am, 1:00pm and 6:00pm (for guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort during Extended Evening Hours).

Limited Hours
Today, March 20 is the first soft opening day for TRON. However, you may be disappointed if you’re planning to ride TRON Lightcycle Run in the evenings. According to Disney, TRON will only be operating from 9:00am until 6:00pm today. It will be interesting to see if these limited hours continue for the rest of the soft opening.
