New Nighttime Shows
Disneyland Resort in California is releasing TWO NEW nighttime spectaculars soon! On January 27, 2023 they will debut ‘Wondrous Journeys’ at Disneyland and ‘World of Color -One’ at Disney’s California Adventure.
For ‘World of Color – One’ a Virtual Queue will be used to get the best viewing areas. It is not a must, but Disney recommends this. To see a special preview and more about the Virtual Queue for ‘World of Color – One’ click HERE.
‘Wondrous Journeys’
Disney is taking 100 years worth of animation films and placing them in Walt Disney’s beloved Disneyland Park. He certainly would have felt such pride watching the new night-time spectacular come to life. “Wondrous Journeys” at Disneyland will celebrate the 100 years of the Walt Disney Animation Studios beginning in January. It will illuminate Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle and the exterior or “it’s a small world.”
The Disney100 celebration will include many limited time offerings that will take place around the resort all year long and “Wondrous Journey,” the new nighttime spectacular, will be kicking off the year long celebration. On select nights, the show will feature fireworks.
Even More Details Released
Disneyland has just released even more details about their newest show ‘Wondrous Journeys. It was confirmed that this show will feature every film release by Walt Disney World Animation Studios including the newest upcoming film, Wish!
Every animated film by Walt Disney Animation will be represented!
The show will have 18 different Disney songs! Don’t forget that Baymax will take flight! The description of Baymax’s flight in the tweet above reads:
“During a climatic moment in the story the thumping bass of the song ‘Immortals’ from ‘Big Hero 6 be heard as Baymax takes to the skies over Disneyland Park with his rocket boosters propelling him into the night.”
This is going to be one amazing Nighttime Spectacular that you are not going to want to miss!
