After Hours Events

After Hours is back in 2023! Wish you could experience even more magic and adventure in less time? Now you can with a ticket to the Disney After Hours event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

During Disney After Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can:

• Enjoy some favorite attractions—with lower wait times since the number of tickets for this event is limited
• Delight in tasty snacks, included in the cost of this ticketed event
• Get a head start on the fun by entering the park at 7:00 PM—a couple of hours before the event officially begins

Dates for Hollywood Studios begin January 4 and end April 19. Prices range from $129 to $149 and there is an Annual Pass and Disney Vacation Club discount! Read more about After Hours HERE.

Snacks

Delight in ice cream novelties, popcorn and select bottled beverages—all included in the cost of this ticketed event—available at carts stationed throughout the park. This is the standard offering for all After Hours events, which is what makes them “After Hours” events versus parties or other special-ticketed events.

Entertainment

Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios enjoy exciting nighttime entertainment with the return of Fantasmic! Then, in front of the Chinese Theatre, guests delight in Disney Movie Magic and Wonderful World of Animation. During normal operating hours, Disney Movie Magic is shown at 8:40 pm and Wonderful World of Animation begins at 9:00 pm.

However, we recently shared HERE that these shows during Hollywood Studios After Hours. During these events, guests can watch Disney Movie Magic at 11:25 pm and Wonderful World of Animation right after that at 11:45 pm.

After Hours guests can catch Disney Movie Magic and Wonderful World of Animation during these events.

Attractions

One of the biggest draws to Disney’s ticketed events is lower wait times to enjoy attractions. We’re happy to announce that guests will have many attractions open during After Hours.

• Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railroad
• Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run
• Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster (closing for refurbishment on 2/23)
• Slinky Dog Dash
• Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
• Star Tours
• The Twilight Tower of Terror
• Toy Story Mania

Since you can enter as early as 7:00 pm, I (Susan) recommend going to Sunset Boulevard to complete those attractions before the park officially closes for the night. Then, you can enjoy Mickey’s and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Toy Story Land and Rise of the Resistance after the park closes.
